Albuquerque Maternity Photographer | Aimee

Aimee  and I talked about her vision and what she wanted in a dress. She wanted white, tight and with some lace and well as floral headpieces for herself and her daughters. I was so happy to team up with my good friend, Lacie at Wistera Way Designs to create a dresss for this shoot. I have a hard time explaining my vision sometimes and she just gets it. I sent her about 5 dress ideas and said something like this from all of these (and they were all different). Bless her. She got it and created this gorgeous gown. Aimee looked stunning.

Aimee has two older daughters so I threw in the idea of them having floral crowns as well and she loved that idea. I worked with Stephanie Yardman Floral Design and she did a wonderful job on these!

Newborn Baby Sirr | Albuquerque Newborn Photographer

This little man was born almost 9lbs and had the chunkiest cheeks. I loved it. Also, that hair!! He was so squirmy at his newborn session too, but he did wonderful!!

Kate Newborn Session | Destination Newborn Photographer

I met Meg through a mutual friend a couple of years ago. We stayed connected because we both use Young Living essential oils. We talk often and when her second baby came, she knew she wanted to have newborn photos done.

As soon as she had the baby, I hopped on a flight that next weekend. I flew out Friday late at night and came home Sunday mid-day. It was s really great trip!!

Chris from Freebird Shoppe (who is extremely sweet), graciously opened up her home studio for us! I had brought some props, but she let me have access to all of her props and textiles. I was in heaven!!

So we arrived at the studio Saturday morning and shot Kate's newborn session there, then I HAD to get in-n-out for lunch, so we did that and then headed back to Meg's place. I was able to load those photos before heading to Huntington Beach for some family photos!

As soon as we pulled into the parking lot at the beach, there was this huge fog front that moved in. You couldn't even see the sun. We rolled with it though and it created this soft background which was really nice!

Lori Maternity Session | Albuquerque Maternity Photographer

Lori and I have been friends for about 5 years. More recently, we have decided to work together on birth photography. We work as a team and are each other's backups should anything happen. I adore Lori. I am thrilled that I have a friend who is so passionate about photography like I am. When she found out she was pregnant with her third, we immediately started talking about maternity, birth and newborn photos :-). I cannot wait to meet her little girl very soon!!

Lori and I kind of had a specific look we were going for with this shoot. We wanted a fringe dress and I made the floral crown. We wanted open mesa, but some contrast with the white dress. We found the perfect spot the day of the shoot. It was awesome and totally worked for our photoshoot!

Cameron's Maternity Session | Albuquerque Maternity Photographer

I had this vision for a while. I wanted a darker, more moody maternity session. I wanted a black dress, and dark florals, heavier on the makeup and some contrast. When I saw Cameron, I thought with her blonde hair and fair skin, she would be perfect for this shoot!

Stephanie Yardman Floral Design killed it with the floral design and C. Johnson Makeup killed it with the hair and makeup!

Baby Delaney | Albuquerque Newborn Photographer

Leah and Jared are such great people. I photographed their other daughter, two years ago and so it was so awesome to see her again for another photoshoot!

I saw on Facebook that Leah had the baby and that hair was something else. I was THRILLED when I got to see it in person. It looked like she had highlighted tips! It was wild. Both of my girls were born bald and still after a couple of years, don't have much hair so any thick beautiful hair I see in babies or children, I get so excited!

Albuquerque Newborn Photographer | Berkeley Newborn

I have been a part of this family's journey since they wanted to announce to the world they were expecting another child. Now Berkeley is here!! They didn't know if they were having a boy or a girl until delivery and being there and getting to photograph that was truly an honor.

Once the baby came out a girl, Jacque knew she wanted fresh flowers incorporated into her session. She chose purples and oranges. We really were not sure how it was going to turn out, but it was BEAUTIFUL!
